SOME SECRETS SHOULDN'T BE KEPT SECRET...
Until three months ago, everything about sixteen-year-old Camelia's life had been fairly ordinary: decent grades; an okay relationship with her parents; and a pretty cool part-time job at the art studio downtown. But when Ben, the mysterious new guy, starts junior year at her high school, Camelia's life becomes far from ordinary.
Rumored to be somehow responsible for his ex-girlfriend's accidentally death, Ben is immediately ostracized by everyone on campus. Except for Camelia. She's reluctant to believe the rumors, even when her friends try to convince her otherwise. Instead, she's inexplicably drawn to Ben...
and to his touch. But soon, Camelia is receiving eerie phone calls and strange packages with threatening notes. Ben insists she is in danger and that he wants to help-but can he be trusted? She knows he's hiding something...but he's not the only one with a secret.
My review:
Deadly Little Secrets is the first book in the Touch series. The main character is a girl name Camelia. It starts with Camelia being in a parking lot and getting saved by a strange boy from an out of control car. (sound familiar) She doesn't know anything about her hero other than shes a tingling sensation when he touches her and that she can stop thinking about him all summer. The school year starts and low and be hold her hero is at her school. She walk up to say thank you for saving her like and he acts very cold ad denies saving her. She learns his name is Ben but rumors has it he is at their school after a big legal battle over killing his last girlfriend in his hometown. Camelia starts getting these weird and scary pictures and messages, she isn't sure if is Ben or some other crazy person. Ben' ends up in her Chemistry class as her lab partner (sound familiar) and eventually he starts talking to her and wanting to be around her. This book was a good little book even anyone that has read Twilight can see similarities, but it does have a different twist. I liked Twilight and I liked this series also. I like enough that I'm starting the second book when I'm done here, lol. Also I LOVE the pretty covers and this whole series is gorgeous!!
