In the third book in the 13 to Life series, Jessie finds her situation to be even more dangerous than she feared. Locked away at Pecan Place, she struggles to maintain her sanity and discovers answers about the group that seems less and less like any legitimate government agency, while Pietr fights to keep their relationship alive. But very aware that his mother's time is running out, Pietr's makes a deal he doesn't dare tell Jessie about. Because the deal Pietr's made could mean the death of far more than his tenuous relationship with the girl he loves.
My review:
Another good book by Shannon Delany, even though it wasn't my favorite in the series. It follows high school editor Jesse and Pieter (werewolf) with the problems in their own lives and their new found love. It has a the CIA, murder, love family and friends. It is a good book and I can't wait for book 4. If you are looking for a light read series this one is it.
