TORN BETWEEN TWO DESTINIES....

Claire is having the perfect sixteenth birthday.  Her pool party is a big success, and her crush keeps chatting and flirting with her as if she's the only girl there.  But that night, she discovers something that takes away all sense of normalcy: She's a werewolf!

As Claire is initiated into the pack of female werewolves, she finds her lupine loyalty at odds with her human heart.  Burdened with a dark secret and pushing the boundaries for forbidden love, she will be forced to make a choice that will change her life forever...

My review:

N new spin on werewolves.  The author starts with the main character Claire having her 16 birthday party and her crush Matthew being there.  All of sudden parents of her guests pulls up freaking out about a werewolf siting, so that ends the party.  Matthew dad Dr. Engles is a scientist coming up with a CURE for the werewolves.  Claire's mom is a photographer that is always out of town so Claire is close to her Au Pare Lizabeth.  When Claire turns 16 she notices her hands and ears have a rash on them.  Her mother finally tells Claire she is from a long line of female werewolves.  Claire's mother Maria also tells Claire that she must stay away from Matthew because of who his father is, but its to late, Claire has already fallen for Matthew.  With a lone wolf killing off people, and Claire's pack in danger of being hunted, what is going to happen?  I liked the writing style of Christine Johnson, the story flowed very easily and I was drawn a couple chapters in.  Claire De Lune was not my favorite book about werewolves but I will be ready book 2, if there is one.

Have you read this book?  Happy reading!!
